Our Physical servers are hosted in Global Switch Pyrmont, Sydney along side those of RTA, Qantas, Amex and similar organisations. Our virtualized servers ensure we can provide maximum uptime with redundant hardware and even off-site failover options. Our staff has access to teh data centre 24x7x365 if required. We use an effective application monitoring system from several network points that ensures faults are identified early and responded to as required. This includes port scanning, SMS notification and escalation to staff on call. Our servers are connected via a 100Mb link to our upstream provider’s backbone, which in turn links to MCI and other peering and backup internet links. Our entire network is protected though a VLAN to minimize possible security or network problems from other customers on the network. We use top brand equipment, including HP and CISCO. We work very closely with our upstream provider, Big Air, who have a very competent team of networking specialists and have a highly available network and also have many high profile customers. One of our off-site locations has a very high speed Microwave link to our data centre which we utilize for redundancy, off-site backups, maintenance, image uploads and many other reasons that are highly beneficial and cost effective for our customers. We can host vmware server images regardless of the platform and assist with conversion if necessary. This would include vsphere, vi3, esx, windows or linux physical servers converted to virtual servers. |
